In-person from my home studio in Guildford, Surrey.
Online - (I normally use Zoom, Skype or FaceTime, but am flexible if you prefer to use a different app).
I do not travel to pupils’ houses.
My teaching studio is custom built at the bottom of my garden. There are 5 steps to the front door and then 3 steps to the garden and 4 steps to the music room.
Parking is not the best where I live, due to it being a conservation area (though if you like countryside, Pewley Down is stunning for a walk!) Most students who need to park do so in the Bright Hill Car Park, a 7 minute walk from my home.
Train station - the nearest train station is London Road, Guildford, this is a 13 minute walk from my home. The next nearest station is Guildford station, which is a 24 minute walk (uphill) to my home and 20 minute walk (downhill) back to the station.
Buses - there are lots of buses that come into the centre of Guildford, at Friary Bus Station, which is 12 minute walk to my house.

Please thoroughly check that the logistics of coming to my home is realistic for you, before contacting me about in-person lessons.

Lessons cost:
£50 an hour,
£38 for 45 minutes
£25 for half an hour
Lessons must be paid for in-advance if done by bank transfer or at the time of the lesson if paid with cash.
I have a cancellation policy that a lesson needs to be paid in full if less than 48 hours notice is given. I will make up your lesson if we can arrange to make it up at the end of another one or two lessons (please note: I can’t guarantee I will make up your cancelled lesson, but will always try to do so). Thank you for your understanding.
Fees
At a minimum I recommend that children have weekly lessons during the school term (I also am available to teach during most school holidays).
For adults I offer lessons on an ad hoc basis - you can have lessons as regularly or as rarely as you like - but please still note the cancellation policy in the ‘Fees’ section.
My teaching days are Monday-Saturday -9 am-7.30 pm (I may be able to teach later or earlier than that for an emergency lesson e.g you have a last-minute audition).
For students who are having weekly or fortnightly lessons I require half a term’s notice (5 weeks minimum notice period) if you wish to stop having lessons with me.
